What you need to know about Volunteering

If you decide to volunteer it means:

  • you want to help people
  • you like people
  • you want to make someone’s life better
  • and you have some time to give

Volunteers come in all shapes, sizes and ages. There is wide variety of opportunties. Whether the one you choose is paid, unpaid, in the UK or abroad, you can be sure you will have a worthwhile and interesting time.

Please be aware that in some volunteering there may be a charge payable by you. Always check.
