OLASS - Offender Learning

Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS)|

Development of a new Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS) began in January 2004 following the creation of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS)| to commission services for offenders on a regional basis. NOMS brings an integrated approach to the custodial and non-custodial aspects of a sentence.

Thanks to support from the European Social Fund, we are now able to offer you and your company a free consultancy service to help you to identify progression training at level 3 or 4. If you are based in Kent & Medway..

It is not always easy to find the right training that will meet the needs of your company and of your employees.

All sorts of factors need to be taken into account – is it feasible to release staff for training; what costs might be involved; what will best suit the employee’s learning style; what is available that fits your needs; can it be delivered in-house; is there a way of accrediting what I already know  …..

Our professionally qualified Progression Advisers can help you with all these issues and more; they are experienced in identifying training needs and have a sound knowledge of what’s available to help your staff and your company progress.
