The Kent Multicultural Community Association is:
- a non religious, and a non political organisation, whose aims would be to promote unity and look into the welfare aspects of the community.
- to promote multiculture relations giving emphasis to the following objectives -
- To perform wedding ceremonies comprehensively under one roof
- To cook and serve excellent food with modern methods
- To welcome leaders of National and International status
- To hold meetings concerning the difficulties of every day life in the UK
- To hold Dances, Bhangra, Naach, Garwa and festivals etc., among the young members of the communities
- To celebrate various religious ceremonies with a view to promote culture
- To promote and teach languages of various regions
- To promote a gathering place for our highly respected senior citizens
- To afford a voluntary legal advice for immigration and other similar problems
- To teach musical and theatrical activities
- To teach multicultural art & craft and create a centre for sports activities
- Any other activity in the best interest of the community
- To promote a programme of activities that will help to improve good race relations in Kent
- To co-ordinate a programme of cultural and educational nature for the benefit of members of the community
- To encourage members of the community to develop their artistic skills
- To identify the needs of the multicultural communities in the Medway Towns
- To assist and encourage self-help developments in the ethnic minority communities
